Today I would like to let you know about my favorite four letter word beginning with ‘F’. And no, it’s not vulgar! It’s the word ‘FREE’. An amazing word that elicits feelings of warmth and a sense of achievement. You know that feeling when you get something for nothing in return. In this day and age of technology the idea of free stuff has moved from being advertised on TV and newspapers to the Internet. And if you know where to look online, you will find a supply of freebies from health and household products, to food to beauty samples. In these difficult economic times, money is tight with many having to alter their lifestyles completely in order to survive and make ends meet. I have found the ideal solution in free samples, which can help during financial difficulty. Every little bit will help, and if you keep a tally of the savings you will be amazed at what you can save.
The first thing about finding free stuff online that will benefit you is that you can search from the comfort of your house. With an abundance of resource at your disposal with a click of a mouse, there is no outlay of paying for magazines or newspapers to cut out coupons to saving money. So you have already saved money in that area. You should have your printer ready in case you need to print any coupons on demand.
Another great thing is that often you can register for freebies online with as little as an email account. However, when you register for free samples online, you should understand that your personal information, such as your email address may be used by third parties to contact you about future offers. Therefore it is sensible to set up an email account that you will designate for free samples only.
Unfortunately when searching for freebies, you have to be on alert. Whilst you have the safety and security of your home to search for free samples from, you have to be wary for your online security. So be aware of scammers. Unfortunately, there are several online scams that prey on unsuspecting consumers who are looking for good deals and free stuff. You need to take precaution on which free sites suit your needs and which you are most comfortable with. Some may be scams and others may be full of affiliate links. Scammers will do anything to con money from you. Most reputable sites will include their privacy or terms of usage agreements on their site. In addition, genuine sites will never ask for your social security number or credit card number. So if any website whether it be a free site or otherwise asks for such information, be extremely cautious.
So whilst freebies will benefit you, the old saying “if it’s too good to be true, then it probably is” applies here.
